Guest Entry Reimagined: A Graceful Rear Facade in Punnaveli, Pathanamthitta
Located in the serene village of Punnaveli, Pathanamthitta, this rear-side transformation redefines how secondary entries can be both functional and architecturally expressive. Designed as a dedicated access point and living space for guests, the intervention turns a once plain and aging rear elevation into a refined backdrop that matches the warmth and charm of the main residence.
The new rear facade features a well-proportioned tiled roof, traditional-style wooden windows, and a welcoming verandah that extends hospitality from the very first step. The redesigned car porch and thoughtfully crafted entry sequence create a seamless transition into the guest living areas—offering privacy without compromise on elegance.
Every element—from the deep overhangs and shaded balcony to the textured finishes and handcrafted detailing—echoes the regional architectural language of Kerala. This space is more than just a secondary entry; it’s an extension of the home's character, crafted to elevate the experience of every guest who steps through it.
